Nearly 100 years on the water… and still sailing strong. 🚢

Before she became the Queen Tara we know today, this beautiful old riverboat spent decades working the great waterways of Southeast Asia as a cargo vessel — plying the mighty Mekong River and Tonlé Sap, carrying goods between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Built close to a century ago, she’s seen changing borders, rising cities, floating villages, and generations of river life pass by her decks. Back then, she wasn’t about comfort or sunsets — she was about hard work, trade, and keeping communities connected along these ancient rivers.

Today, Queen Tara carries stories instead of cargo — welcoming guests aboard to experience the same timeless waterways that shaped her history. From working boat to heritage river cruiser, she remains a living piece of Mekong river history.

Almost 100 years young… and still writing new chapters. 💙
