Overview of Operations
Week 17 has been a masterclass in logistics and endurance. April in Southeast Asia continues to deliver breathtaking conditions for our evening operations, though it also signals the peak of our technical workload. We are successfully balancing the “dry dock” season requirements with a full schedule of guest experiences.
Weekly Highlights
The Golden Hour: The April sunsets have been nothing short of spectacular. Our Sunset Dinner Cruises in both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap remain the crown jewel of our daily schedule. The calm waters and vibrant sky provide the perfect backdrop for guests as they dine, capturing the true essence of the region’s natural beauty.
Fleet Revitalization: The yearly “Big Refresh” is in full swing. We have initiated the full repainting and maintenance program across the entire fleet. This is an all-hands-on-deck effort, focusing on hull integrity, fresh coats of marine-grade paint, and technical servicing to ensure every vessel remains in peak condition for the year ahead.
Operational Continuity: Despite the heavy maintenance schedule, we have not skipped a beat. We are successfully maintaining all regular tour programs without interruption. The rotation of vessels has been managed seamlessly, ensuring that while some boats are being serviced, the guest experience remains consistent and high-quality.
Technical & Crew Notes
The crew has shown incredible versatility this week, transitioning from hospitality roles during the evening cruises to maintenance and engineering tasks during the daylight hours. Their dedication ensures that the fleet doesn’t just look the part but is mechanically superior.
End Log. Smooth sailing and steady progress.
